The Sevio System allows the use of the Realm VPN.
Through the Realm VPN service it is possible to connect, without the aid of specific software, to all automation networks from one or more Workstations, using Sevio remote networks. For further details, refer to the Realm VPN article.
OpenVPN can be used for the VPN configuration.
Download OpenVPN Connect for MAC from https://openvpn.net/vpn-client/.
Download the sevio.ovpn configuration file dedicated to Realm VPN from Sevio Portal.
Access to the app, select File, import the certificate, then:
- Assign a Profile Name.
- Set vpn.sevio.it like a Server Hostname.
- Set the Username and Password of your Sevio Account. If you want save the password, flag the appropriate field, then Connect.
- The certificate is in the imported file, in the next step is possible flag in the proposed option, then Continue.
If the MFA method is enabled, the VPN Client will connect, but access to LAN networks will remain suspended until the Operator's identity is verified through an OTP sent via email.
To disconnect the VPN uncheck the VPN Profile.
