This article provides a guide to using the Sevio System in association with GP-Pro EX® products.


Trademarks

Sevio is a Sevio S.r.l. trademark.
Pro-face® and GP-Pro EX® are Pro-face registered trademarks. Other product names and brands are registered brands or trademarks of their respective owners.


Requirement

The fundamental requirements for the use of the Sevio system combined with GP-Pro EX®:

  • The Sevio Router.
  • The Registration Sheet (supplied along with the Sevio Router).
  • A Pro-Face® HMI with Ethernet connectivity.
  • A PC with an up-to-date web browser and GP-Pro EX® installed.
  • A VPN Client configured and connected (see Workstation Management).
  • An internet access.


Preliminary configuration

Go to Offline menu.

Go to Ethernet Local Settings.

In the Gateway field set up the Sevio Router LAN IP address assigned (e.g. 192.168.0.1). For further details, please refer to the Sevio Router parameters article.

Then tap Exit > save changes and exit.


Remote access

Open the existing project and go to Transfer Project.

Select the operation, Send Project in the example.

Press Add and set up the remote Device IP address:

Press OK to confirm.

Set up the remote IP address in GP-Viewer EX® for monitoring real time activities.
