Sevio Client provides fast and secure access to remote plants. The Sevio VPN allows Operators to monitor and manage Devices at any time and from multiple Workstations.


Download and Login

To install Sevio Client, access https://client.sevio.it and proceed with the download.

Before installation, make sure there is no existing network interface named Sevio on your system.

During login, enter the credentials (email and password) used for Sevio Portal. Select Remember password to enable automatic reconnection.

If the MFA method is enabled, enter the OTP code received by email.


Realm and Device List

In the Realm list, you can view all the Realms the Operator belongs to. If the User belongs to only one Realm, this section is omitted.

By selecting the desired Realm, you access the Device list.

The Device list includes only the Routers for which access has been enabled from Sevio Portal, irregardless of the Operator’s role.

You can filter the list of Realms and Devices using the Search field.


Realm VPN and Layer 2 VPN

The Sevio System allows the use of the most suitable VPN service based on connection requirements:

VPN di Reame

To establish a Realm VPN connection:

  1. Access the Device list.
  2. Click the Realm Connect button.
  3. Once finished, disconnect by clicking Realm Disconnect.

The following details are displayed upon connection:

UptimeConnection uptime.
AdapterTAP adapter description.
IP AddressIP address assigned by the server.
WorkstationWorkstation in use.

During the connection, it is not possible to leave the current page or log out.

VPN Layer 2

To establish a VPN Layer 2 connection:

  1. Access the Device list and select the desired Router.
  2. Click the L2 Connect button.
  3. Once finished, disconnect by clicking L2 Disconnect.

The Layer 2 VPN connection is available only for R Series Routers.
For SV Series Routers and Operators with the User role, the L2 Connect button is disabled.

During the connection, it is not possible to leave the current page or log out.


Workstations

In the Device list, it is possible to manage the Workstations.

The LED displayed before each Workstation indicates its status:

  •  - Workstation in use.
  •  - Workstation available.


SideBar

From the Sidebar of the Client, you can access the menu   , which includes:

  • Link to Sevio Portal.
  • Client version.
  • Download logs button.
  • Logout from the application.

A Refresh    button is also available to update the current page.
