This article provides a guide to using the Sevio System in association with Saia Burgess Controls products.
Trademarks
Sevio is a Sevio S.r.l. trademark.
Saia Burgess Controls, PG5 and SBC are Saia-Burgess Controls AG registered trademarks. Other product names and brands are registered brands or trademarks of their respective owners.
Requirement
The fundamental requirements for the use of the Sevio System combined with Saia Burgess Controls:
- The Sevio Router.
- The Registration Sheet (supplied along with the Sevio Router).
- A Saia Burgess Controls PLC/HMI with Ethernet connectivity.
- A PC with an up-to-date web browser and Saia PG5 software installed.
- A VPN Client configured and connected (see Workstation Management).
- An internet access.
Preliminary configuration
Go to Memory Modules > Ethernet.
In Default Gateway field setu up the Sevio Router LAN IP address assigned (e.g. 192.168.0.1). For further details, please refer to the Sevio Router parameters article.
Enable Ether S-Bus.
In the Ethernet Protocols, selezionare IP transfer protocols and enable three functions.
Remote access
Select the Device, select IP Address by NAT (remote TCP).
Set up in IP Address or Host Name field, the remote IP address:
Click on OK.
From this moment on it is possible to perfom all online activities.
Select the Device and go to Device Configurator.
Press Start Download.
From this moment on it is possible to connect to PLC via webserver.
