This article provides a guide to using the Sevio System in association with SICK products.

Trademarks

Sevio is a Sevio S.r.l. trademark.
FX3 and Flexi Soft Designer® are SICK AG registered trademarks. Other product names and brands are registered brands or trademarks of their respective owners.

Requirement

The fundamental requirements for the use of the Sevio System combined with SICK products:

The Sevio Router.
The Registration Sheet (supplied along with the Sevio Router).
A SICK safety controller FX3 with Ethernet connectivity.
A PC with an up-to-date web browser and Flexi Soft Designer® software installed.
A OpenVPN Client configured and connected (see Workstations Management).
An internet access.

FX3 Via Flexi Soft Designer®

Click on Com settings, Add TCP/IP connection profile.

Select OpenVPN TAP interface.

Set up the safety controller remote IP address, in the example:

Flag on Enable TCP/IP routing.

Set up Subnet Address: 255.128.0.0 and remote Gateway address (Sevio router LAN IP address).

Click OK.

Execute Test Connection.

Click OK > Connect.

From this moment on it is possible to perform all online activities.
