This article provides a guide to using the Sevio System in association with LS Industrial Systems products.


Trademarks

Sevio is a Sevio S.r.l. trademark.
LS Industrial Systems and XG5000 are LS Electric Co registered trademarks. Other product names and brands are registered brands or trademarks of their respective owners.


Requirement

The fundamental requirements for the use of the Sevio System combined with LS Industrial Systems products:

  • The Sevio Router.
  • The Registration Sheet (supplied along with the Sevio Router).
  • A LS Industrial Systems PLC with Ethernet connectivity.
  • A PC with an up-to-date web browser and XG5000 software installed.
  • A VPN Client configured and connected (see Workstation Management).
  • An internet access.


Preliminary configuration

Select Network Configuration.

In the Gateway field set up the Sevio Router LAN IP address assigned (e.g. 192.168.1.1). For further details, please refer to the Sevio Router parameters article.

OK to confirm.


Remote access

Go to Online menu > Connection Settings > then select Settings.

Set up the remote PLC IP address:

OK to confirm, then Connect.

From this moment on it is possibile to perform all online activities.
