This article provides a guide to using the Sevio System in association with Mitsubishi Electric® - MR Configurator2 products.

Sevio is a Sevio S.r.l. trademark.
Mitsubishi Electric®, GTD3, GX, RT ToolBox3, RT ToolBox2, FR Configurator2, FR Configurator Mobile and MR Configurator2 sare Mitsubishi Electric Corporation registered brands. Other product names and brands are registered brands or trademarks of their respective owners.


Requirement

The fundamental requirements for use of the Sevio System combined with Mitsubishi Electric®:

  • Sevio Router.
  • Mitsubishi Electric® PLC, HMI, Robot, Inverter, Servo with Ethernet connectivity.
  • PC with an up-to-date web browser and the following software installed:
    • GX Works2.
    • GXWorks3.
    • GTD3.
    • RT ToolBox3, RT ToolBox2.
    • FR Configurator2, FR Configurator Mobile.
    • MR Configurator2.
  • VPN Client configured and connected (see Workstation Management).
  • Internet access.


Preliminary configuration

Go to the Servo Ethernet parameter, e.g 192.168.3.2.

Set up as Default Gateway setting, the Sevio Router LAN IP Address assigned (e.g. 192.168.3.1). For further details, please refer to the Sevio Router parameters article.


Remote access

Select System Setting, Connection Network: CC-Link IEF Basic.

Set up the remote Servo IP address:

Execute Communication Test.

Click OK.

Select Online.

From this moment on it is possible to perform all online activities.
