To ensure proper operation, the IT manager at the installation site should verify compliance with the Internet Connection Requirements in order to authorize the Router on their network and allow it to reach the Sevio infrastructure.
The document Internet Connection Requirements, available in PDF format in the Download Area > System, summarizes the necessary technical requirements and allows you to record the system configuration data.
Requirements also apply to connections via Data SIM.

- Sevio Router does not require public IP assignment or static NAT mapping.
- VPN servers are located in multiple clouds; the IP addresses are dynamic to provide traffic load balancing, geographical proximity, and DoS (Denial of Service) prevention and mitigation.
- It responds at the FQDN *.sevio.it, specifically concentrators.sevio.it, which includes all IP addresses available for router connection.
- To ensure optimal service over time, also consider allowing the Sevio IP address block: 45.66.80.0/22.
- If filters on the MAC addresses are enabled, the WAN MAC address should be shared with the installation site's IT manager. MAC addresses can be found on the Sevio Portal or in the Registration Sheet.
- Sevio Router can be installed behind SOCKS Proxy-Server, in Transparent Mode or with authentication, for OpenVPN connectivity.
- Sevio Router supports 802.11b/g/n Wireless (Wi-Fi) networks with WPA/WPA 2PSK encryption in 2.4 GHz band.
